Press Setter
You will be experienced in the setting of hydraulic and mechanical presses and have a good knowledge of the principles of press tools, jigs, gauges and fixtures. Duties will include the setting and operating of a number of press machines ranging from 4 ton - 200 ton, to produce a variety of pressed components accuarately.
Applicants will be required to read and understand product drawings and specifications accurately and visually inspect components and products to specification.
Working within a self-inspecton environment where quality and accuracy is of paramount importance as you will be working to tight tolerances. Ideally applicants will have completed a formal apprenticeship or equivalent.
Flexibility to learn a variety of skills within the business is needed as we encorage multi-skilled employees within our Company.
Hours of work are 37 hours basic per week, plus an additional supplement for working a variety of shift patterns.
