Ballistic Components

With the ever increasing threat levels on the battlefield and the need for modern vehicles to have mobility without compromising on survivability, ceramic armour is today’s solution to providing protection at minimum weight.

MTC Rugby high purity Alumina ceramics have been adopted as an effective solution for hard-faced armour vehicles. Sintox™ FA  and Sintox™ CL  tiles are available in a range of shapes, sizes and thicknesses to meet a particular threat level and can be supplied either separately or in an array to suit individual customer requirements and specifications. Our specialist engineering expertise and manufacturing capabilities allow custom made panels/arrays to be manufactured, which can be delivered direct into integrators of the ballistic system.

Complex shapes for panel design can be obtained through conventional machining or dedicated cutting equipment.

Datasheets are available for Sintox™ FA and Sintox™ CL. (Login required)
